joyful-vault began in 2012 when three operations professionals recognised a gap in the consultancy market. Too many firms offered theoretical frameworks without understanding the messy realities of organisational change.

Having spent years managing factories, distribution centres, and back-office operations, our founders knew that lasting improvement requires more than clever process maps. It demands deep engagement with the people who do the work every day.

We started with a simple proposition: combine rigorous methodology with practical implementation support. That approach resonated with clients tired of expensive reports that gathered dust on shelves.

Common Questions About Our Approach

External consultants bring fresh perspective and cross-industry experience that internal teams may lack. We can also navigate organisational politics more freely and dedicate focused time that internal resources often cannot. However, we work best in partnership with internal champions who understand the culture.

Not at all. While we serve enterprise clients, roughly 40% of our work is with SMEs. Smaller organisations often see faster results because they can make decisions more quickly and have less organisational inertia to overcome. We scale our approach to fit the client's size and budget.

We design every engagement with sustainability in mind. Before concluding, we establish governance structures, train internal process owners, and document everything thoroughly. Many clients choose ongoing advisory relationships for periodic check-ins, but this is optional. Our goal is to leave you self-sufficient.
